About

Christian Youth Events is a free directory of youth conferences, retreats, rallies and leader training. It exists so a parent can see what is actually out there, rather than only what their own church happens to mention.

Why it exists

There was no single place to look. Events are organised by denominations, dioceses, Bible colleges and parachurch groups, each publishing on their own site to their own people. A family that is not already connected to the right network never hears about most of it, and a teenager whose friends go to a different church has no way to find out what they are going to.

The result is that the church ends up as the middleman for something it does not need to be the middleman for.

What we promise

Free, always. No paywalls, no accounts needed to browse, no sponsored placement. Nobody pays to appear here and nobody pays to appear higher.

Every listing shows its source. You can see where we got it and when we last checked, on every page. Read how we verify listings.

We say what we do not know. Most events have not announced next year's dates. We say so rather than guessing.

Who we are not

We are not affiliated with any organisation listed here, and we do not endorse any of them. A listing means the event exists and we found its details, nothing else. Decisions about whether an event is right for your family are yours, and we would encourage you to talk to the organizers directly.

We are not a ticketing service. Every registration link goes to the organizer, and no money passes through us.

Who is behind it

Christian Youth Events is built and run by YEG Digital, a web agency in Edmonton, Alberta. It is not a client project and nobody is paying for it to exist. It was built because the directory did not exist and someone wanted it to.

If a listing is out of date, an event is not running, or we have something plainly wrong, please tell us. Corrections from organizers are especially welcome, and checked against your own page.
